Prof. Saeed Gholizadeh began his academic journey at Urmia University, where he earned a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering in 2000. His master's thesis focused on the optimal design of structures using genetic algorithms and neural networks, under the supervision of Prof. Eysa Salajegheh. Prof. Gholizadeh pursued a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering at the same institution, completing his doctorate in 2009 with a dissertation on the optimum seismic design of structures using advanced artificial intelligence methods, again under the guidance of Prof. Eysa Salajegheh.
