After earning her Ph.D., Prof. Liu began her professional career as an Assistant Researcher at the Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, part of the China Academy of Sciences, from November 2007 to February 2009. Since March 2009, she has been a Professor at the College of Information Science and Engineering, Henan University of Technology (HAUT).
