His passion for engineering led him to pursue a B.Tech. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Naraina College of Engineering and Technology, under Gautam Buddh Technical University, where he graduated with a commendable 78.22% in 2011.

Dr. Nigam's professional career began with a one-year tenure as a Teaching Personnel at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand, from August 2011 to May 2012. He then served as an Assistant Professor at IFTM University, Moradabad, from August 2013 to July 2017, in the Department of Electrical Engineering. Currently, he holds the position of Assistant Professor at Chandigarh University, Mohali, since June 2018, where he continues to contribute to the academic and research landscape.
