Dr. Kaan Koçali began his academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from Istanbul University in 2011. His intellectual curiosity led him to pursue two Master’s degrees: one in Mining Engineering (with thesis) at Istanbul University (2016), focusing on the effects of boron compounds on solar panels, and another in Occupational Health and Safety at Istanbul Aydın University (non-thesis, 2016). He crowned his academic formation with a Ph.D. in Occupational Health and Safety at Istanbul Aydın University in 2021. His doctoral thesis addressed the legal responsibilities of permanent supervisors in mines under Turkish law and proposed a software-based tracking and control system.
