Mr. Nalinda Dissanayaka began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, completed in January 2013. He furthered his education with a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business in January 2018 and a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management and Additive Manufacturing from Deakin University in January 2020. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Queensland, focusing on developing realistic 3D printed neurosurgical training models, with an expected completion in July 2024.

Nalinda's professional career is marked by diverse roles and responsibilities across various industries. He started as a Project Engineer at MAS Holding (Pvt) Ltd in Sri Lanka, moving on to roles at Ansell Lanka (PVT) Ltd as a Process Engineer in Research and Development, and later as a Senior Process Engineer in Manufacturing and R&D. From 2018 to 2021, he served as a Project Manager at Jantec Telecommunication PTY Ltd in Melbourne, VIC. Currently, he is a Doctoral Researcher at the Herstan Biofabrication Institute and the University of Queensland, and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Queensland.
