Prof. Seyed Hamidreza Ghaffar's academic journey began with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering, which he completed with First Class Honors in 2012 from Brunel University London (BUL), UK. His early commitment to excellence was evident as he won the prestigious Graham Hawkes award for the best final year project in his department, along with the Institute of Structural Engineers Prize for the best structural engineering solution. He continued his studies at BUL, obtaining a PhD in Civil Engineering Material Sciences in 2016, fully sponsored by the Industrial Cooperative Awards in Science & Technology (CASE).
