Dr. Ozge Yuksel Orhan's journey in the field of Chemical Engineering began at Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey, where she earned her B.A. in Chemical Engineering from 2003 to 2007. She continued her studies at the same institution, completing her M.A. in Chemical Engineering in 2010 under the supervision of Prof. Abdurrahman Tanyolac. Her master's thesis focused on designing and manufacturing industrial AC Corona/DBD plasma reactors operating under atmospheric pressure. Dr. Orhan achieved her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Hacettepe University in 2015, with Prof. Erdogan Alper as her supervisor. Her dissertation examined the absorption kinetics of CO2 into Ionic Liquid-CO2 binding organic liquid hybrid solvents.

Dr. Orhan has accumulated extensive experience in academia and research. She began her career as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Hacettepe University's Department of Chemical Engineering from 2009 to 2021. She later served as an Assistant Professor at the same department from 2021 to 2024. Since August 2024, she has been an Associate Professor at Hacettepe University.
