Mr. Sudeb Pal began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from D.L. College, Krishnagar, under the University of Kalyani. Graduating with top honors, he was the University Second Rank Holder in 2018. He furthered his studies with a Master's in Geography from the University of Calcutta, where he excelled academically, securing a First Class in 2020. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Geography from Ballygunge Science College Campus, University of Calcutta, focusing on the transformation of gentrified neighborhoods in Mumbai.

Mr. Pal served as a faculty member at Merit Academy in Kolkata from 2019 to 2021, teaching social science to students across CBSE, ICSE, and WBSE boards. His practical skills include field surveys, data collection, analysis, and presentation, demonstrating his ability to engage effectively with students, teachers, and the general public. He also holds a Master's in Population Studies from the International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai, where he specialized in population dynamics, migration studies, urban studies, and regional planning.

Mr. Pal's research interests are centered on urban gentrification, neighborhood transformations, and the (re)production of space, particularly within the creative and service industries. His research work includes the modeling and simulation of semiconductor devices, with expertise in software tools such as QGIS, SPSS, GeoDa, Zotero, NVivo, and a Diploma in Computer. His Ph.D. research, titled "Transformations in Gentrified Neighbourhoods: Evidences from the Erstwhile Mill-Workers’ Colonies in Mumbai," is supervised by prominent professors at NIT Silchar.

Mr. Pal has received numerous awards and recognitions for his academic and research excellence. He qualified for the UGC NET JRF in Geography with an All India Rank of 132 in 2022. He was also awarded a Government of India Fellowship at IIPS Mumbai from 2020 to 2022, the Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship from 2018 to 2020, and the Oasis Scholarship. His scholarly achievements include being a University Second Rank Holder for his B.A. in Geography and securing a First Class in his M.A. in Geography.

His notable works include studies on the physico-chemical properties of drinking water and the impact of gentrification on textile mill workers in Mumbai.
