He continued his education at the same institution, completing his MSc in 1988, and later pursued his PhD at the University of Sydney, graduating in 1996.

Following his doctoral studies, Dr. Pasandidehfard began his academic career as an Assistant Professor at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 1996. He steadily progressed to the role of Associate Professor in 2008 and has held the prestigious position of Professor since 2016.
