Driven by a passion for emergency management and disaster response, Dr. Baş enrolled in the Emergency Aid and Disaster Management Department at Çanakkale 18 Mart University in 2013, graduating in 2017. Following this, he pursued a Master's degree in Disaster Health Management at Hacettepe University. In 2020, he earned his PhD in Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) studies from Selçuk University, continuing his doctoral research.

Since 2019, Dr. Baş has served as a research assistant at the Emergency Aid and Disaster Management Department at Selçuk University, where he contributes to both teaching and research activities. Currently pursuing his PhD in Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management at the University of Lomé, Togo, Madou has a rich background in data analysis and management. His experience includes serving as a Data Analyst and Data Management Assistant at the African Technical Assistance Center for Sustainable Development, where he designed and processed large datasets. Additionally, he interned at the Helmholtz Centre Potsdam in Germany, further expanding his experience in hydrological modeling and disaster risk analysis.
