Dr. Urmila Shirke began her academic journey with a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Pune. Her deep-rooted interest in holistic health led her to pursue an MD in Swasthavritta and Yoga from the same institute, followed by an MA in Sanskrit from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth. She is currently pursuing a PhD at Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Ayurved & R.C., Pimpri, Pune, where she continues to expand her scholarly horizons.
