Borice Augustin Ngounou’s academic journey began with a strong foundation in mathematics and physical sciences, earning a Baccalauréat “C” in these subjects from Bandja-Cameroon High School in 2014. His pursuit of higher education led him to the University of Yaounde II-Soa, where he achieved a degree in Economic and Financial Engineering in 2017 and  Master’s degree in Monetary, Financial, and Banking Economics in 2018. His academic excellence continued with a Master’s degree in Money, Banking, Finance, and Insurance from the University of Rennes1 in France in 2019.

Currently enrolled in the third year of his doctoral program at the University of Dschang, Borice focuses on the effects of urbanization on sustainable human development in Africa. As a dedicated tutor within the Faculty of Economics and Management, he employs modern pedagogical tools to impart knowledge and skills to his students. His professional experience extends beyond academia, having worked as a sales agent for MTN Cameroon and a commercial agent for Express Union Cameroon.

Borice’s research is centered on the socioeconomic impacts of urbanization, financial stability, and public goods and services satisfaction in Africa. His work includes participating in surveys to assess satisfaction with public services in education, health, water, and communal services sectors as part of the SCORECARD-PNDP project.
