He undertook doctoral coursework at IIT Madras, followed by a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Chennai, under the mentorship of renowned mathematician Prof. S. Ponnusamy. His Ph.D. thesis explored operator theory on discrete Hardy spaces and homogeneous trees—an area both rich in theory and full of analytical depth.
