She registered in the Register of Surgeons of Rome in 2006, followed by obtaining a Specialist in General Surgery with honors in 2011. She pursued further specialization, earning a Doctorate in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases in 2016 and a Master's degree in Endocrinosurgery and Senology in 2023.

Since 2012, Prof. Capolupo has held various positions at the University Polyclinic Campus Bio-Medico of Rome. She has also been actively involved in welfare activities and surgical on-call duties.
