Dr. Aiman Awadh Bin Mokaizh's academic journey began at Qawdhah High School in Hadramout, Yemen, where he graduated from the Scientific Department in 2012 with a commendable rate of 86.00%. His passion for chemical engineering led him to Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), Malaysia, where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in January 2019, achieving a GPA of 3.23/4.00. He continued his studies at UMP, earning a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering with Entrepreneurship in January 2020, with an impressive GPA of 3.73/4.00. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Chemical Engineering at UMP, focusing on the optimization and characterization of bioactive compounds extracted from Commiphora gileadensis using various extraction methods.

Professional Endeavors 👩‍🔬

Dr. Mokaizh has amassed significant professional experience in the field of chemical engineering. He served as a lecturer at Hadhramout University and held various research assistant positions at UMP. His industry experience includes working as a Production & Process Engineer at Alraswah Brothers Sdn Bhd in Malaysia. Additionally, he has been actively involved in academic and student organizations, serving as a reviewer for several journals and holding leadership roles in various student associations at UMP.

Dr. Mokaizh's research interests span across chemical reactions and kinetics, wastewater treatment, catalysts and support catalysts, separation processes (extraction), chemical technology, and waste-to-wealth initiatives. His research projects have focused on innovative solutions for environmental and industrial challenges, such as the synthesis of gamma-alumina from aluminum cans waste for treating palm oil mill effluent and developing green oil-based surfactants for crude oil stabilization.
