Dr. Shanmugavelayutham Gurusamy began his scholarly journey in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, where he completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics at the prestigious PSG College of Arts and Science. His academic curiosity led him to earn a Ph.D. in Plasma Physics from Bharathiar University in 2005.
