Dr. Sakthivel Muthu’s academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Botany from Madurai Kamaraj University in 2005. He continued his education with an M.Sc. in Botany in 2007 and an M.Phil. in Botany from the University of Madras in 2008. His deep interest in plant sciences culminated in a Ph.D. in Botany from the University of Madras in 2016, where his thesis was highly commended.

👨‍🏫 Professional Endeavors

Dr. Muthu's professional career took off as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Biotechnology at the University of Madras, supported by the prestigious UGC fellowship (2017–2022). He later transitioned into academia as a Guest Faculty member in Biotechnology at the same institution in 2023, bringing his expertise in bioactive compounds and protein biochemistry to students and peers alike.
