His passion for horticulture led him to pursue an M.Sc. in Horticulture from MPUAT, Udaipur in 2001 with a 3.87/4.00 CGPA. Continuing his academic excellence, he completed his Ph.D. in Post-Harvest Technology (PHT) in 2005 from RAU, Bikaner with a 7.56/10 CGPA. Later, he earned an MBA in HRD from IGNOU, New Delhi in 2009.

Currently, he holds the position of Dean at AU, Jodhpur and is the HOD of Horticulture at COA, Sumerpur.
