Mr. Nalinda Dissanayaka began his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, completed in January 2013. He furthered his education with a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business in January 2018 and a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management and Additive Manufacturing from Deakin University in January 2020. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Queensland, focusing on developing realistic 3D printed neurosurgical training models, with an expected completion in July 2024.

He started as a Project Engineer at MAS Holding (Pvt) Ltd in Sri Lanka, moving on to roles at Ansell Lanka (PVT) Ltd as a Process Engineer in Research and Development, and later as a Senior Process Engineer in Manufacturing and R&D. From 2018 to 2021, he served as a Project Manager at Jantec Telecommunication PTY Ltd in Melbourne, VIC. Currently, he is a Doctoral Researcher at the Herstan Biofabrication Institute and the University of Queensland, and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Queensland.
